Lip Blush

Lip Blush (also known as Lip Tattoo or Permanent Lipstick) is a professional cosmetic and aesthetic procedure that uses a machine similar to a tattoo machine to implant colour pigment  into the dermis of the lips, resulting in fuller and more defined looking lips.  The results are a world away from the hard pigments of lip tattooing from years ago. Instead, once healed, you can expect a finish similar to that of a lip stain. There are options to have a more “lipstick” look to the lip blush should you so wish.

As well as giving a natural boost of colour to the lips, it can also help to cover loss of pigmentation, scarring, and can be a game changer for people who don’t have a naturally defined border and struggle to line their lips.

Who is it for?

  • Clients with busy lifestyle who welcome time saving techniques
  • Women (or men) who lack lip definition or wish to enhance their natural lip colour
  • Clients who lack symmetry on their lips
  •  Disabled / partially sighted individuals who struggle with their makeup routine
  • Clients with cleft lip or scars on their lips (needs personal consultation!)

How is it done?

A personal consultation is preferable before every treatment where we discuss  the procedure, decide on the colour and talk about contraindications. If you live too far, this consultation can be held online. At the actual appoitnment we will start by pre-drawing the lip shape. It is to make sure the lips are as symmetrical as possible (we can only work on lip tissue). The outline is implanted first and then we fill the remainder of the lips with a shading technique. Anaesthetic is applied continuously to keep you comfortable.

The colour will lose its intensity 40-60% by the end of the initial healing period (6 weeks). That is the time when you will need to come back for your touch-up session (included in the price).

How many sessions do I need?

Most of the time 2 sessions are required to achieve the best results. A top up session is required 6-8 weeks after the initial treatment. This second appointment is included in the price.

How long does it last?

Lip blush can last anywhere between 2 - 4 years before they start to fade. Natural fading occurs from external factors such as exposure to the sun as well as internal factors such as the gradual break down of pigments as your body metabolizes it out of your system. Everyone can experience the fading process differently and it really comes down to different factors, such as the client's skin type, skin care and lifestyle. It is recommended to have a  touch-up every 2-3 years to maintain the freshness of the colour.

❄️ 👄 FROZEN LIPS 👄 ❄️

An icy and frosty effect that gives a magnificent luminous glow- like diamonds. 💎

The basic idea is to use not only one colour but create several layers with different colours: main colour + white pigment. In the end we get a result with this frosty (glossy) effect.

Treatment duration: 2,5 hours
Results last: 2-5 years

Is it possible to have shiny lips in healed results?

Of course, we won’t see white sparkles after a month, but this technique gives a soft pastel color in the final healed result, which is the number 1 priority for many clients.

Why is Frozen Lips® a safe technique?

This technique is created by using special white ink at the end of the procedure and just putting a soft layer of it and following fundamental rules: proper deepness, right angle, and correct pressure.
